UCD social Night out

UCD Olympic Handball Team will have a social Night out on Saturday the 15th of November. Meet at 7pm in St Steven's Green. Players from all Handball Clubs are welcome to join in.

UCC announce Handball Tournament

Dear all, It is my privilege to inform you that the inaugural Cork Handball Tournamentshall commence on 29th/30th November 2008 in the UCC Mardyke Arena, Western Rd.,Cork, Ireland. It is located near UCC on the south-west side of the city. Andit will be played on a proper full size handball court!!!
The format of the tournament will be based on a round-robin format, with thetop two teams progressing to the final. The entry fee is 60 Euro per team.
It would be advisable that you stay in Cork on Friday night if your team arebad morning travellers as we have the hall on both days at 12.00h until 18.00h.

Ladies will play Terenure at 12.30 in UCD. ladies teams will be wearing Dark Green shirts with Black shorts. I'll be there with a big box!!

men's will play DCU at 3pm, wearing red shirt (don't have a picture of it). I have about 10 of these....need to buy more, but will take time

Christmas Break

UCD Olympic handball Night out is on Saturday 15th in O'Brien's - Renelagh. at 8.30-ish.
It is open to everybody, so bring friends if you feel like!!

We should get together before people starts leaving for Christmas holiday. I suggest Friday 14th or saturday 15th, 8.30-ish, in Renelagh. Any preference?

2007/2008 Begins

Training is back.
Starts on Wednesday 12th at 5pm till 7 pm iin UCD, hall B.
We have to suspend for the following week.
Hence we are back with regular training Monday 5-6pm and Wednesday 5-7pm from Monday 24th.
Leagues start on October 13th.

Summer Handball

UCD invites to play Handball every Thursday night 8-10pm in UCD sport hall.

Easter training and April Activities

Training is suspended for Easter week. It will resume on Wednesday the 11th of April.
UCD ladies will play a match for 3rd-4th place on Sunday the 15th of April. Venue is St Columba's College, at 14.00.
UCD Men's will play the last match of the season on Sunday the 22nd of April. In UCD at 12.20.

I have invited St.Pat's ladies to train with us for the rest of the month in preparation of the Senior Women's final. April 22nd.

March Training time

Senior League starts

For our two UCD teams the league will start on October 22.

Time to have a “Get Together” before the first match.
Try to make it to Wednesday the 18th training session, even for the last hour only (training 5-7).
After training we will meet in the FORUM bar in UCD (now new sport bar) so we give a chance to those who cannot make it for training to join us. It would be nice to see each other in the eyes before the first game!!

Summer break

The season is finished.
Someone will head back home, someone will stay in Dublin.

We will take June off, relaxing and recovering from the accumulated stress.
Will start in July with the usual summer friendly matches, all invited to play.

Hi all,
So we got to the end.
Last two matches...
I say we train on Friday the 21st of April, to get ready for the Match vs DCU on the 23rd.
The we also train on the following friday, for the last macth vs Lughnasa on the 30th.

So I'll see you all on the 21st in St Columbas.
